Internships
Each semester, I have two college interns in my Washington, D.C. office. During the summer, there are two 6-week internship terms, with two interns per term. Interns will be able to learn about the legislative process and see how Mississippians are affected by the decisions that are made in Washington. Interns will be responsible for greeting constituents that come into the office, giving tours of the Capitol, and assisting my staff in day to day office duties.
Interns are responsible for their own living expenses—including housing, food, and transportation. However, to help offset these costs, you will receive a monthly stipend.
If you are interested in applying to be an intern in my office and have completed your sophomore year of college, please fill out the application and submit it to my office through the mail and by fax.
